The Ph.D. program is structured to develop the theoretical and methodological knowledge. It aims at making its students aware of the current research issues and at producing innovative and original work
The Ph.D. program requires the students to successfully complete 7 must course and 3 elective course which offered from different areas, the qualification exam, Ph.D. thesis proposal and thesis researches.
Students are expected to complete all courses within 3 semesters, but are allowed to extend the coursework up to 4 semesters.
In five semesters students are expected to take the qualification exam which consist of two parts as written and oral examination. The latest date for completing the qualification exam is the end of the 6th semester.
The deadline for the submission of the Ph.D. thesis is the end of the 8th semester. After acceptance of the Ph.D. proposal by committee, students have to submit a written progress report every six months, and to defend it in front of the Ph.D. committee.
